Tourism Laboratory
The institute is in the process of setting up a tourism laboratory. This will consist of collections of creative works done by tourism students and field work collections; wall maps, photographs of wildlife, physical features and other tourist attractions.

Well Equipped Library
The institute has a well stocked library where students do their studies and borrow reading material. A wide variety of e-books is also available to students. The institute also encourages students to purchase main/key textbooks such as field guidebooks and recipe books relevant to their course as they are very important in their chosen career even after graduation.
Computer Lab
The institute has a spacious computer laboratory equipped with modern computer systems with free internet. Information Technology lessons, computer packages lessons, and a wide range of research takes place within the laboratory. All students are encouraged to make use of this vital facility.
Demonstration Kitchen
The Institute has set up a very elaborate kitchen with various sections that resembles any professional kitchen of a star rated hotel. In depth practicals are conducted here to fresh students and also used to impart specialized skills to on-going students taking food production and hotel and catering management. From demonstration kitchen, our students are introduced to kitchens in Tsavo Camp and Lodges for further exposure before proceeding for attachment and internships in other hotels and catering establishments.
Hostels
Mrs Faith Wanjiru Opiyo - Matron
Tsavo institute of Technology has its own state of the art modern hostel to cater for the students' accommodation services. Accommodation department is headed by an in –house matron who is always there for the boarding students.
The matron provides the parent figure to the students, takes care of the students, ensures cleanliness of students and hostel facility and surrounding environment, in charge of menu planning, to ensure a well balanced menu to students, ensures discipline is observed by all, and liaise with the dean of students and management in all matters pertaining to the well being of boarders.
The rooms are spacious. Each room accommodates up to four students; with four wardrobes and is well lit and ventilated. The dinning room is spacious with a DSTV and 2 television sets. The hostel is situated in a secure and serene environment in proximity to Tsavo East National Park making it conducive for learning. To dedicate ample time to studies and to attain the best grades possible, all students are encouraged to reside in the hostel.
